Reasons to celebrate the New Year..
Parties can sometimes be loud and obnoxious, but New Year's parties are traditionally planned in advance and well organized. It's not uncommon that event planners will charge a cover price in order to get in, and hired security or bouncers are the ones standing at the front entrance. With all the preparation to supply food, drink, music, security and party favors, there is a presumption that allows people to expect an well-organized event. All that goes into a New Year's Celebration creates an event that will formulate a longer lasting impression in your mind.
Auld Lang Syne
The title of the song "Auld Lang Syne" is interpreted as meaning "Old long since," or "For the sake of old times." The song was written by Scottish poet Robert Burns in 1788, and is about two friends reminiscing over their lives while having a drink. Burns said that he wrote it from a collection of words from listening to a verse of an old man traveling abroad.
Party like a Babylonian!
What if you could go back in time four millennia to a New Year's Eve party? Well if you did and just happened to land in ancient Babylon on the first new moon following the vernal equinox, you might see some crazed Babylonians living it up! Yea,. they celebrated not just one day, but eleven days, and turned it into a massive religious festival called Akitu. Oh well, so much for the hell-raisers in Times Square.
"Making resolutions for the new year is believed to have first been practiced by ancient Babylonians, who made promises in order to earn the favor of the gods and start the year off on the right foot. They would reportedly vow to pay off debts and return borrowed farm equipment."
Miami
Miami Florida often ranks in the annual top ten list of best cities in America to party. It always attracts a stylish, fun-loving, diehard mass of party-goers. Some really cool night clubs are located there, re-affirming its placement at the top of the list of best nightlife cities in USA. Miami attracts travelers from around the world, and for good reason, as the beaches, hotels, modern downtown architecture and more all come together in one city.
Maimi Airport
Miami International Airport is Certified as a 3-Star Airport for facilities, comfort, cleanliness, shopping, food & beverages, staff service and security/immigration.
According to Skytrax:
"MIA is a major gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean and the high number of international flights means that immigration and customs are often congested. Connections can be subject to long walking distances, and TSA processing is frequently inefficient. Shopping and dining choices are good, but service standards are inconsistent. There is a good choice of transportation but aside from taxis, all options are accessed from a centralized facility 3 minutes away from the terminal via train."
There are many clubs in Florida that claim to be the best party spot for celebrations, but regardless who's the best, you can bet they will ALL have your New Year's Eve Party amenities ready and waiting. So make plans to party like a Babylonian, and bring in the new year with style. You'll experience food, drink, dancing, music, and of course,. CELEBRATIONS!
"It's the ultimate New Year's Eve party state in America. Come join Floridians for fun and excitement!"
"..and don't forget to make your New Year's resolutions!"
